Stanford’s in-house news site has an interesting interview with Reviel Netz on mathematical proofs as literature. Netz is also the author of the fascinating book The Archimedes Codex: How a Medieval Prayer Book Is Revealing the True Genius of Antiquity’s Greatest Scientist.
